Installing Certificate Generator

Certificate Generator needs WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 8.0+. Activation creates the plugin's own database tables.

Install and activate

  1. Download the plugin ZIP from your Tech Love V dashboard (Downloads).
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP — or copy the plugin folder into wp-content/plugins/.
  3. Activate Certificate Generator from the Plugins screen. This creates the custom database tables.
  4. Open Certificate Generator → Documentation → Getting Started and follow the checklist.

Upgrading from an older version

If you're migrating from an older install that stored certificates as posts, run Certificate Generator → Migration to copy existing data into the new tables.

Plugin updates only replace PHP, JS and CSS files — they never drop or truncate database tables. Take a backup before major updates anyway.

Activating a license

The Free plan needs no license key. For Pro or Business, go to Settings → License in the plugin and paste the key you receive after checkout.
